Empowering Futures

Creating safe spaces for children and nurturing communities through compassion and shared purpose.

Vision Statement | Heart of the Father Foundation

We envision a world where every child finds safety, every heart discovers hope, and every life is empowered to thrive. A world where no one is left behind, where compassion ignites transformation, and where faith fuels action. At Heart of the Father Foundation, we are restoring more than homes—we are restoring dreams, renewing spirits, and creating a future where every individual is uplifted through love, meaningful work, and unwavering community support.

Our vision extends to the creation of a safe haven on our own land, a place where individuals can grow, develop skills, and receive the training they need to reintegrate into society. This space will be a beacon of hope where we not only offer care and shelter but also equip people with the tools they need to build a sustainable, empowered future.

By integrating education, counseling, mentorship, and sustainable farming, we aim to transform lives, cultivate hope, and build lasting resilience for generations to come.

At Heart of the Father Foundation, we believe that when we stand united, the impossible becomes possible. Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, offering refuge, fostering growth, and equipping people to rise, stronger than ever.

Because every heart deserves a home, every soul deserves a future, and together, we can build a world where hope never fades.

At Heart of the Father Foundation, we are dedicated to creating a sanctuary of hope and transformation—where children receive shelter, nourishment, and care, and adults are empowered through hands-on agricultural work, educational workshops, counseling, mentorship, and rehabilitation programs.

Although we currently serve by reaching out from orphanage to orphanage, offering support to those in need, our vision is to acquire our own land. On this land, we aim to establish a safe haven—a place where people can find refuge, grow, develop skills, and thrive in a supportive community.

Our farm-based initiatives lay the foundation for personal growth, resilience, and self-sufficiency, equipping individuals and families with the tools they need to succeed and build a lasting future. We believe in the power of sowing where you want to go—investing in lives, planting seeds of hope, and nurturing transformation that leads to a harvest of purpose and restoration.

We are committed to providing more than just a place to stay—we offer compassionate care, practical training, and spiritual guidance to help people rebuild their lives, find purpose, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

By fostering ministries, education, and faith-based development, we empower individuals to unlock their full potential and live lives of impact and purpose.

Together, we rise—restoring lives, building futures, and creating safe spaces for all to grow and thrive.

Mission Statement | Heart of the Father Foundation

Meet Our Team

I am Juan Roux, a man of God, a devoted husband of 13 years, and a father to two wonderful children, ages 4 and 9. As a Professional Project Manager and Digital Agency business owner. I am an ordained pastor, and certified life coach, currently completing my Masters Degree in Ministry and writing my first book due to be published in 2026. I have spent the last 10 years in ministry, serving with a heart for those in need. James 1:27 is a constant reminder of my calling—to care for the widows, the orphans, and the brokenhearted.

I am actively involved in various outreach and evangelism ministries, bringing the hope and love of Jesus to those in need. One of my greatest passions is mentoring fatherless boys, helping them establish their identity in Christ and equipping them to walk in their God-given purpose. Every Friday evening, I dedicate time to mentoring these young men, guiding them in faith and life, and ensuring they attend church on Sundays to establish a strong spiritual foundation.

The vision the Lord has placed on my heart is to create a place of refuge—a large, self-sustainable piece of land where those without a home can find shelter, nourishment, and restoration. This land will not only provide homes and food but also include a school so that children can have access to education and a church where they can build their lives on a Godly foundation. My heart is to bring lasting hope to those in need, helping them encounter Jesus, discover their worth, and be equipped to positively impact society.

I believe in transformation, second chances, and the power of God’s love to change lives. My mission is to be His hands and feet, creating a legacy of hope, healing, and restoration.

My name is Lize Roux, a beloved daughter of God. I am blessed to be a pastor’s wife, and my husband and I have been married for 11 years. Together, we are raising our two wonderful children. Whilst being a business owner in the Bridal industry and Serving alongside my husband in ministry it has been a privilege and a calling that fills my heart with purpose.

I am a compassionate listener with a deep passion for helping others. I believe that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and loved. My love for children has led me to serve in Sunday school, where I find great joy in planting seeds of faith in young hearts. My husband and I also lead a church connect group, guiding people on their journey of spiritual growth and encouraging them to pursue a deeper relationship with God.

At the core of my life and ministry is a servant’s heart. I believe that true greatness is found in serving others selflessly, just as Jesus came to serve and not to be served. To serve is to love in action—to extend kindness, offer support, and walk alongside others in their joys and struggles. Having a servant’s heart means being willing to put others before myself, listening without judgment, and helping without expecting anything in return. It is through serving that I encounter God’s presence most profoundly, experiencing the beauty of humility and grace.

Matthew 5:6 reminds us, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled." This verse fuels my desire to see lives transformed, hearts healed, and souls saved. My greatest longing is for everyone to experience the saving grace of Jesus Christ and for God’s kingdom to be established here on earth as it is in heaven.

Every act of service, no matter how small, is an opportunity to reflect God’s love and bring glory to His name. My prayer is that my life would be a vessel through which others encounter His goodness, mercy, and unfailing love.

I My name is Mandy Pieterse, and I am 66 years old. I have four children and eight grandchildren. My life has always revolved around my children. I have a passion for children from difficult circumstances or those who are homeless. I want to make a difference in children's lives in various ways—whether by giving a hug, simply listening, offering a warm plate of food, or baking something special. This is my passion.

Hi, I’m 38 years old and Married to Marique for the past 15 years and have a daughter Roxanne which is 15 years old and a son Ruaan who is 5 years old. I am Financial adviser and have my own Brokerage and For the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as the Chairman of the Board at CMR Non-Profit Organization, where our main focus is supporting children and women in need. I help lead our mission to create opportunities for them to thrive and empower their lives. I’m also passionate about mentoring young boys, and every Friday evening, I dedicate my time to guiding them at MTR Non-Profit Organization, which is a children’s home. My goal is to help shape their lives, teach them important values, and provide them with the tools they need for a brighter future.

On Sundays, I take these boys to church to help them learn about the Lord, deepen their faith, and understand the importance of living a life grounded in biblical principles. I have a deep passion for God, and working with the fatherless and supporting the homeless is at the heart of my mission. Through various outreach programs, evangelism, and prayer drive-throughs, I seek to bring hope, compassion, and practical support to those in need.

One of my favorite scriptures is Proverbs 27:17: "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." This verse reminds me of the importance of community, mentorship, and the role we all play in helping each other grow.

My dream and goal is to one day have a large plot or farm where we can provide homes for the homeless, serve as fathers to the fatherless, and teach them God's way of farming. I envision this place not only as a home but as a sanctuary where we can also have a church and a school, teaching life skills, education, and offering a better future to those in need. It’s a vision rooted in faith, hope, and love, and I believe it can be a place where people’s lives are transformed, and they are empowered to create brighter futures for themselves. "Sow where you want to go"

My name is Marique Jonck. First and foremost, I am a child of God. I have been married to Ruaan for 15 years and together we have 2 beautiful children, Roxanne and Ruaan Jnr. I am a wife, a mother and currently happily a stay at home mom. I love taking care of my family by providing them a cozy, clean home and hearty meals. I enjoy serving at our church, getting involved in programs at the church such as MTR children's home ministry. This is where I discovered my passion for children especially those in need.

After completing the Farming God's Way course I also realized the need for underprivileged communities to become self sustainable, by imparting that valuable skill and knowledge.

Together with my husband we share the same vision and dream of owning land big enough to farm and have a safe haven for children in need. To be able to give them hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord," Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. "
